Congratulations to our Stifel winners! The Stifel prizes are named in honor of the late George E. Stifel, who endowed a trust for encouragement of education in public schools. The Stifel Awards are given for academic achievement in the classroom and on standardized achievement tests. We are so proud of these students and their academic achievements:

It was another exciting day for our Cardinals! We had several field trips and in school fun activities.
Today was a happening day at Steenrod! From kindergarten water day 2.0 to baseball day to a visit to a one room school house - it was a great day!

This evening we held our Showcase from the Tony M Music Arts Foundation After School Program. Classes in acting, interpretive dance and messy science were enjoyed by students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.

The camp is open to any and all entrants that are incoming 6th graders and younger. The camp is posted at wvucamps.com which has additional information as well as instructions for how to sign up.
In July Ohio County Archery & Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s will be hosting an Outdoor Adventure Camp for students going into 4th through 12 grades. Registration is currently OPEN with a limit of ONLY 60 campers.
